Hey Team!
I am sorry for the delay in this week's Blog...I had some tech issues as I have a new computer and I couldn't access my BLOGGER Account! I hope you all had a good weekend and are finding some joy in the snow!?!
This will be our last week of virtual learning. We return to in-person learning on Jan.31, 2022. Please make sure that your classroom/office is ready to welcome our scholars back. All Holiday decorations should be down, and your boards should be updated.
Upcoming Testing
This is a review of information that I sent out last week. Please read it over and we are hitting our Winter Testing Cycle and have compliance dates we have to adhere to.
NWEA Testing
We will resume NWEA testing upon return to our in-person learning model. An updated schedule will be sent out later this week.
AIMSWeb Testing
Thank you to the Intervention team for owning this testing during our Virtual Learning timeperiod. Please continue to work on completing the MOY Benchmarking so that we are in compliance with our testing window. We have until 1/31/22. Please reach out if you have questions.
Here are the students who need to be benchmarked:
- K-3 - All students
- Gr. 4-8 - Students who tested below the 25%tile in ELA during Fall NWEA
- Special Education Students - the Resource Room teachers are completing this Benchmarking
Interim Testing
Next week, Jan. 31, grades 3rd-8th will administer the Interim 2 ELA and the Science Interim 2 assessment for grades 3-5, 7 & *. . This is a good time to review the skills that the students will encounter on the assessment. It is most important that ALL students take this assessment.
School Visit
On Tuesday, February 1st, we will have a school visit/tour by our DSQ Amy Ebling and Nick Sheltron, the Chief Learning Officer of NHA. Please make sure that your classrooms, workspaces, bulletin boards, etc., are all neat and updated. They will be making visits to classrooms/offices looking for engagement.
