Good Morning Everyone...I hope you had a blessed and restful weekend.  I don't have a lot for this week.

Virtual Learning Week

Please continue to follow your virtual learning schedule.  Also, you need to plan to come in this week to make sure that your classrooms/offices are ready for our return to in-person learning.  Our return date is scheduled for Monday, January 24th.  If anything changes, you will receive information from Ms. Boyer.

Upcoming Testing

NWEA Testing

We will resume NWEA testing upon return to our in-person learning model.  An updated schedule will be sent out later this week.

AIMSWeb Testing

Thank you to the Intervention team for owning this testing during our Virtual Learning timeperiod.  Please continue to work on completing the MOY Benchmarking so that we are in compliance with our testing window.  We have until 1/31/22. Please reach out if you have questions.

Here are the students who need to be benchmarked:

  • K-3 - All students
  • Gr. 4-8 - Students who tested below the 25%tile in ELA during Fall NWEA
  • Special Education Students - the Resource Room teachers are completing this Benchmarking
Interim Testing
Next week, Jan. 24-28, grades 3rd-8th will administer the Interim 2 ELA assessment. This is a good time to review the skills that the students will encounter on the assessment. It is most important that ALL students take this assessment.

Black History Project

Expect to receive an email regarding the upcoming Black History Project. During the month of February, the students will research a specific person. Teachers will select the top 3 projects from their class and those students will have the opportunity to share their presentation with their peers. More details to follow.
