Happy New Year Team!  I hope that you all had a wonderful holiday break and that you are enjoying the snow!  Welcome Back!

We have a lot of upcoming events for the month of January beginning this week:

NWEA Testing

Mid-year NWEA testing begins this week. Please check your email for the schedule of when your class will be testing. Remember, you are proctoring the test in your classrooms. Due to testing, Art will take place in your classrooms for the next two weeks. 

AIMSWeb MOY Testing

AIMSWeb MOY (Middle of Year) Benchmark Testing begins this week.  Classroom teachers are responsible for this testing; however, Interventionists are able to assist with this testing.

Full Lesson Observations

My goal is to complete these observations this week and next week.  I will let you know on Tuesday when I will be coming to your classroom. My plan is to conduct observations on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Teachers, please have a copy of your lesson plan for me when I arrive. 

Virtual Fridays

Just a reminder, we will be virtual on the first two Fridays of this month, Jan. 7th and Jan 14th. Please remember to remind your parents. Attendance is crucial during this time. 

NHA Safety Training

Laurus Academy will be participating in a live safety training. It will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 5th from 4:00-5:00pm. Stay tuned for more details.
