Our goal for these first couple of weeks is to implement necessary routines and procedures for our students, to create a positive learning culture and climate, and to promote a safe and healthy learning environment.  As a school we are encouraging all classrooms to minimize the movement of students within the classroom and the building.  For those of you that provide lunch support, I am asking that you collaborate with the classroom teachers to establish lunch expectations and routines limiting student movement and close contact.

Please refer to the safety checklist.

  • All staff and students consistently wear masks (covering nose and mouth)
  • Make sure students wear masks appropriately
  • Students must use hand sanitizer before entering the room in the mornings, after recess, and after specials
  • Teacher sanitizes high touch points in the classroom at the end of the day
  • Independent restroom breaks are limited
  • Visitor sign-in sheet is easily accessible and consistently used
  • Student sign-in sheet is consistently used at the Buddy Chair location

If we shut down tomorrow, are you ready?

As we enter into our second week of school, we have to be ready to act at a moments notice. Covid cases are on the rise and we need to be prepared if we have to shut down and teach virtually. Below is a list of things you must have in place to ensure a smooth transition for you and your students.
  • Google classroom is up and ready to go.  Paras, please work with your classroom teacher to establish this. Any students that are at home quarantined can work on those assignments as well. This is a class requirement.
  • Student know how to sign in and use all apps such as Dream Box and Lexia
  • Teaching area at home is organized, has an appropriate background, and equipped with teaching materials
